Hi everyone! This month, I'm bringing you a Valentine's Day themed freebie, since it's right around the corner. I needed a new activity to work on basic prepositions, so I decided to make this book:

Multiple Meaning Word KaBoom!

Hi everyone, it's Miss Thrifty SLP here with one of my new favorite games. While I haven't made very many materials lately, I thought that this one is just too good not to share for those of you with older students. I made this for my fifth grade groups as it's a pretty quick game that I can take into their classrooms.

Multiple Meaning Word KaBoom!

If you haven't run across any teachers in your school using this, you are likely to start a new trend at your school. KaBoom is a great game that I saw teachers using in their centers. You can make a KaBoom game for pretty much anything you might need. The best part is that the game NEVER ends.

You can head on over to my blog to learn more about this activity. Simply click on the picture below!

P & B Race Cars

2017 has arrived! What does that mean? Getting used to writing 17 instead of 16 (it'll probably take me a good month to stop messing that up). And a new freebie from me to you! I have quite a few friends working on bilabials this year, and I wanted to create something engaging and fun for them.

Enter P & B Race Cars!

Laminate the road pieces and tape together to make one long road piece. You can affix Velcro to the cars and the road if you want or just have your students place the cars on the road.

There are 12 cars each for /p/ and /b/ initial and final words. Yellow cars are /b/ words and blue cars are /p/ words.

Simply print the 3 pages of actions, cut out and put them in a container. Have your students pick one and pretend to freeze while doing the action while you take a short video.

I also included a worksheet that you can use to discuss after you play the video back. More details are on my blog, so head there to read more!

(FREEBIE) No Prep Find and Fix Syntax Activities for Halloween

Hello again!  It's Lindsey over at Word Nerd Speech Teach bringing you my newest FREE product called, "No Prep Find and Fix Syntax Activities for Halloween"!

I have a lot of students working on syntax skills, which is why I have added a free sample of one of my go-to products to my TpT store!

"No Prep Find and Fix Syntax Activities for Halloween" includes 5 no-prep (just print!) sheets that can be used during therapy sessions or can be provided as homework!

After reading the sentence, students must determine if the sentence makes sense or not.  Then, they fill in the thumbs up if the sentence does make sense and the thumbs down if the sentence does not make sense.  Students can then fix any sentences for which they have colored in the thumbs down.

Student Questionnaire: Articulation

Hi everyone! Today, I'm stopping in to share a freebie that will be good for gathering information from your students on how they feel about their progress in speech. I know we often have students who might have hit a plateau or who just are not motivated during your sessions and you might be considering consult or dismissal. Having your student's thoughts to share with parents and the IEP team might be helpful!

Here's a peek at it:

IEP Quick Sheet

It's time to get organized for the new school year. I know some of you have already been in school for awhile by now, but students start after Labor Day where I am. This year, I decided to create something more streamlined to take to my IEP meetings. I wanted to have all my information organized and in one place.

I printed on colored paper, so that I can easily find it.
